Residential FAQ

Residential FAQs

I am moving into your service area. How do I obtain service?

You may visit our main office in person or contact our Customer Service Center by telephone (770) 887-2363.

Are there any deposits when obtaining service?

The level of deposit as outlined in Policy 307, Service Security Deposit - Residential, is based on the "score" a new member receives when requesting service. The "score" refers to the "Unique Energy Industry Credit Scoring System" that is utilized by Equifax. A signed membership application is also required.

Are there any fees when obtaining service?

The base non-refundable construction fee for temporary service is $180.00. There is a $55.00 next day service fee for re-connection of an existing meter, and there is a $5.00 membership fee for new members. Same day service, long line extensions, and underground service may have other additional fees. Request that the field representative for your service identify any additional fees.
